8216;An urban legend reborn’ Pickaxe – formerly known as The Pick-Axe Murders Part III: The Final Chapter – is a 2014 American horror feature film written and directed by Jeremy Sumrall (Possum Walk). The film is a homage to 1980s horror movies and a “threequel” to a movie that never existed. In 2019 it was retitled Pickaxe and remarketed with new artwork.
